Violence in the workplace is a serious and disturbing issue. In the health and community care sectors, statistics indicate workplace violence – whether committed by  persons who have no relationship to the organization, acts of aggression or violence by clients and staff, among co-workers, the result of personal relationships or based on criminal intent – is an escalating problem. The health and community care sectors have the highest number of lost-time claims among all sector groups in the province. Seen in this light, it is even more troubling that workplace violence is often under-reported in the health and community care sectors.

To help you find the appropriate resources please answer the following questions.
