OSACH offers a full-day education session on client handling program development based on the OSACH Handle with Care™ Resource Manual.

The Steering Committee overseeing the development and implementation of a minimal lift program and a comprehensive lift/transfer education program.

Training Objectives:

• To learn the five steps in planning a client-handling program
• How to conduct a program needs assessment
• How to develop a minimal/safe lifting policy
• How to develop comprehensive procedures to support the implementation of a client handling program
• How to implement a comprehensive lift/transfer education program.

Cost: $900 plus GST for OSACH members for up to 25 participants ($1,100 plus GST for Schedule 2 and MHSAO, and $1,200 plus GST for non-members).
