OSACH Members Injury Statistics Reports

The following reports are available to OSACH members on request, for their own firms/organizations only.

Benchmarking Report
Provides organizations with an overview of where they rank in terms of workplace injury frequency and severity compared to other similar organizations (i.e. in the same WSIB rate group) in Ontario. Please note that 2008 data will not be included until the beginning of July 2009.

Injury Demographics Report
Provides a detailed listing of an organization's lost time injuries, as well as graphs showing accident costs by accident type and distribution of accident types for the report period.

Rate Group Profile
Provides graphs showing distribution of lost time claims by accident type, and accident costs by year and accident type, for a given rate group over a given report period.

Reports are provided via e-mail in PDF format. To request reports, e-mail your regional consultant:

• the type of report(s) you are requesting
• your name
• your e-mail address
• your firm's name
• your firm's WSIB Firm Number

Please note: This system was developed based on information from the Ontario Workplace Safety Insurance Board (WSIB) database. The accuracy of these calculations is dependent on the information received from the WSIB. The Ontario Safety Association for Community and Healthcare is not responsible for any misrepresentation arising from inaccuracies in the source data. It should be noted that the WSIB uses derived hours to express company pay hours, which may differ from the actual pay hours. However, our testing has indicated that the margin of error as a result of this is not significant for the purpose of "benchmarking", therefore the ranking should be considered indicative of the firm's performance relative to others.
