Shelly Hurry obtained her Master of Science in Kinesiology from the University of Western Ontario and her Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science from Lake Superior State University.

She was most recently employed as a Restorative Care Manager of a long-term care facility where she facilitated the health and safety program, which included leading Safety Group, managing WSIB claims, and the early and safe return to work program. Shelly is a certified Gentle Persuasive Approach (GPA) Coach, having conducted many workshops in GPA training along with other topics such as client handling, workplace violence, and wellness.
