Peggy graduated as a registered nurse from St. Thomas Elgin General Hospital. She has obtained certification in occupational health nursing and has a certificate in occupational health and safety from Ryerson.

Prior to joining OSACH, Peggy was the Manager of Occupational Health & Safety at the Addiction Research Foundation and the management co-chair of the health and safety committee. Her expertise is in the area of occupational health, infection control and employee assistance. She is also a nurse practitioner with clinical experience in addictions medicine. Peggy has successfully completed her CIC level II Infection Control Certification exam, making her a certified IC specialist in Canada and the US. Peggy is also a Canadian Registered Safety Professional.
