Jeff is a certified ergonomist (Canadian Certified Professional Ergonomist) with over 20 years of experience. He completed his Bachelor of Science degree in Kinesiology at the University of Waterloo, specializing in Occupational Biomechanics, and completed several courses in Systems Design Engineering.

Jeff worked as an Ergonomist for Canada Post, then joined the WCB/WSIB where he was an Ergonomics Specialist for nine years. He also operated a private ergonomics consulting business for several years. Jeff has gained experience in a wide variety of industries including healthcare (hospitals, long-term care, group homes, dental and community care). He has taught ergonomics and occupational health and safety courses at Algonquin College since 1996. Jeff completed his certificate in Occupational Health and Safety at Algonquin in 2007. He is a member of the Association of Canadian Ergonomists (ACE) and past president of the Ontario Region of ACE. Jeff is the co-founder and former co-chair of the Ottawa Ergonomics Group.
